Adjusting the OPC Group Settings

You can modify some of the settings of an OPC group.

System Manager is in Engineering mode.

In System Browser, select Management View.

Select Project > Field Networks > OPC network > [OPC server].

Select the Extended Operation tab.

Do one or more of the following:

To adjust the deadband smoothing for analog items, next to the Death Band property, modify the value and click Apply.

To adjust the update rate requested by the server for the group, next to the Update Rate Request property, modify the value and click Apply.
