Determining the Allowed Customization Level

The customization level determines at what level of the Libraries hierarchy (L2-Region, L3-Country, or L4-Project) the libraries or library elements which you customize are placed. For background information, see Customization Levels.

 

  • You are trained and authorized to work with system libraries.
  • System Manager is in Engineering mode.
  1. In System Browser, select Management View.
  1. Select Project > System Settings.
  1. Select the Extended Operation tab.
  • The Customization Level property (Project, Country, or Region) indicates the level at which customized libraries and library elements will be placed.

For project engineers, the customization level is set to Project and is read-only. This means that all customized libraries and elements will be placed under Libraries > L4-Project.
