Incidents and Incident Templates Tab

Incidents represent occurrences of time incidents such as fire, electricity shortage and so on.

Real-world incidents can arise at any time, and must be managed as they occur. Incident management includes identification, analysis, and correction to prevent a future reoccurrence.

The following are the three stages of incident management:

  1. At the time of incident occurrence.
  2. Ongoing development to prevent the repetition of the incident through precautionary measures and changes in policy.
  3. Resolution of the incident after the incident occurrence to restore normal conditions.

People must be notified as the incident moves through the different stages. Notification notifies people about incidents and keeps them informed.

You can manually initiate a Notification incident when a real-world incident occurs, either by using the graphical user interface, or by dialing into a dedicated phone number offering an administrative phone menu.
