Extended Import Rules

You must use this function if you want to import more data points than were entered in Application modeling. Using extended import rules, you can import data points as defined under User designation or Object type and that belong to the overall project. Set your own extended import rules or use predefined extended import rules under Headquarters.

Extended Import Rules
	Description
	Saves the extended import rules under the project library ...\Device > Desigo Automation and Control > Import rules.
	Saves the extended import rules under another name in the project library ...\Device > Desigo Automation and Control > Import rules.
	Deletes the selected advance import rules.
	Displays the edit mode for lines. Only lines created with Copy entry can be changed.
Import all...	Imports all data points that have an assigned user designation.
Import specific object types	The object type table is available if the check box is selected.
Object type	Defines the object type. NOTE: Multiple object types are permitted, but the defined type must differ.
Description	You can keep or change the object type description.
Type	Select the desired Type of the output type.
Import	Only the selected Object type is imported.
Copy entry	Creates a copy above the selected row.
Delete entry	Deletes the selected row.
