Discovery Troubleshooting

  • You have performed a network scan, and your devices are not displaying.
  • System Manager is in Engineering mode.
  • The BACnet network is selected in System Browser.
  • The Discovery tab is selected.
  1. Click the Discovery Settings expander.
  1. Make sure that your discovery filter settings correspond with the devices you are trying to discover.
  1. Click the Device Discovery expander.
  1. Click Scan again. If your devices still do not display, go to the next step.
  1. Select Start > All Programs > [company name] > Desigo CC > Tools > BACnet Object Browser.
  1. Verify that the devices you want the system to discover appear in BACnet Object Browser.
  1. If your devices do not display in the BACnet Object Browser, they will not display in Desigo CC. If this is the case, use the field panel documentation to troubleshoot your BACnet configuration, your physical network setup, or both.
