Object Model Editor Workspace
The Models & Functions tab becomes available when you select an Object Model or Function in System Browser. The contents of the workspace vary depending on whether you have selected an Object Model or a Function. For related procedures see the step-by-step section.
Object Model Editor
When you select an Object Model in System Browser, the following configuration workspace becomes available in the Models & Functions tab.

1 | Models & Functions | Displays the workspace for configuring Object Models or Functions, depending on selection. |
2 | Mode | Indicates whether you are currently editing an Object Model or a Function. |
3 | Object Configurator | Object Configurator tab to process project instances. |
4 | Basic settings for the corresponding Object Model. | |
5 | Toolbar | Toolbar for Object Models, Functions, and the Object Configurator. |
6 | Lists all properties for the corresponding object. | |
7 | Define mapping for Function properties for the Object Model properties. | |
8 | Symbols for the object, whereby a symbol may be defined as the default symbol. | |
9 | Detailed configuration of Value Attributes, Display as well as Status. The display of Value Attributes depends on the properties. | |
10 | Alarm configuration of individual object properties. | |
11 | Command configuration of individual object properties. | |
12 | Graphics template for object, where a graphic template can be defined as default. |
