Configure the Values and States Filter of the Journaling Definition

  • For printing, the COVs of a property of an Object Model, the VL flag for that property in the Object Configurator tab must be checked. For more information on how to set the VL flag of the property, see Logging Data Values.
  1. In the Values and States expander, you can set what changes of value (COV) or changes of state (COS) of field objects will be printed.
  1. Click New to create a new row with all the fields initially set to All.
  1. Specify what set of objects you want to monitor for changes in value or state: drag a Scope from Project > System Settings > Scopes > [scope] into the Scope field.
  1. Select what Property of the specified object model you want to monitor for changes in value or state.
  1. To further restrict what changes in value or state are printed based on Type/Subtype, Discipline/Subdiscipline, use the drop-down lists and the = or ≠ operators.
    NOTE: A COV or COS will be printed if it matches all the criteria in a row.
  1. Repeat the above steps to add other rows.
